About Us

Humaniora Care and Support is the municipal provider in Solna Municipality. We are responsible for five group and service homes according to LSS. We are now looking for support educators for our group and service homes. The target group for the operation is adults within the LSS person circle 1.

What Does the Job Involve?

As a support educator, you work together with the operations manager, group leaders, support educators, and support assistants. You as a support educator act as a role model and participate in all tasks of the unit. As a support educator, you participate in the daily work of the operation. In your role, you should be able to support and inspire other employees in the pedagogical development of the operation. We offer our users individually adapted support in their daily lives. Work with users is guided by individual implementation plans. The work is planned, documented, and carefully followed up.

The assignment as a support educator requires that you are pedagogical and have an interest in continuously developing your own skills and those of your colleagues.

The work is scheduled for all hours of the day and all days of the week. Weekend and on-call work is included.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed education as a support educator (200 YH), it is meritorious with a focus on disabilities
• Experience working in housing according to LSS.
• Experience working as a support educator
• Knowledge and experience in low-arousal approaches, clarifying pedagogy, social stories, and series conversations. This is important as challenging behavior from users occurs in housing
• Good communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish
• Good computer skills and is a quick learner of new programs.

It is meritorious if you have worked with the individual's needs in focus (IBIC).

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, likes to take initiative, and drive processes forward. As a person, you value structure and have a good ability to coordinate.

You are clear in your communication style and have good collaboration skills. You should be able to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, daily activities, and other networks. We see a professional and humble approach as a given.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
